Has anyone taken delivery of 06 Civic SI?

I was wondering if anyone has taken delivery of 06 Civic SI yet.
My dealer told me it won't get to me until end of this month.

everyone should post their "expected delivery date" in here. I know a few people have mentioned their dates in other threads. I think the earliest might be the 17th, but I can't remember who.

I would guess someone in Canada will be the first, since the cars are shipping from Alliston. But that is logical so I will probably be wrong. lol.

Janizary,
Actually, your logic turned out to be correct in this case. I found a forum member on another Civic site who took pictures of his Habanero Red SI delivered to his dealership.
After looking up on Google Earth, I can see how the the forum member got his SI so early. It looks like the car only had to travel just a few hundred miles to Classic Honda in Brampton, Ontaro after it rolled off the assembly line in Alliston, Ontario.
According to my dealer, mine to being put together this week between 4th and 8th but as of 2pm today still no VIN issues to the dealer. I wonder how long it'll take to transport mine to 897.03 miles south of Canadian border.
MapQuest tells me it takes about 14 hours and 48 minutes to my dealership but that not figuring in paper work at the plant, loading it onto a truck and other logistics delays...... I really hope the car is worth the agony of waiting.

I would also guess some folks in the US near the plant should get their's soon. Someone at ToV said they had an Si on the lot at some dealer in Virginia.

I also browse 8thgen and ToV and Team Midnight's pictures over at 8thgen.

Was told no build date as of Nov. But, build date could be sometime in Jan, with delivery in mid Feb. We here in Hawaii maybe the last to get it. Crossing fingers hoping it may be earlier.

Check out http://www.collegehillshonda.com/

Their site lists a Habanero Red Si in transit that is in Ohio right now. Shouldn't be long before people start taking delivery.

This is a time when living west is not working out well. Sigh.

Of course, I have sun 350 days a year, no snow, and daytime temps in the 50s mid winter so that is pretty good outside of a southern state :)

My dealer just informed me that mine has been shipped on 18th of Dec from Alliston plant and is on its way down here now. Honda did push back the expected delivery date to the first week of Jan but I'm hoping it will get here by the end of next week. All this waiting is driving me nuts!!!
Anyone in South East US got the same ETA as me?

Just got an update from my dealer. My silver SI has made its way to OH at a "giant Honda depot" according to the dealer. ETA is still the first week of Jan but I've not given up on having it delivered by the end of next week.
You might wanna call your dealer and find out where yours is. They should be able to tell you where it is until it gets put on a truck.

Mine's due the middle of Jan. I got lucky, they were originally telling me mid April/ early May, but aparently, there was a shipping error and they got 1 extra Si, in the color I wanted even(fiji blue). This shipment is due to arrive in a week/ week and a half time frame. That's what I call a lucky break
