road trip to yosemite in my nbp si w/ pics

i left wednesday from huntington beach to yosemite and camped out. when i arrived all the campgrounds were full in yosemite valley but i managed to find one (i found a empy space and started setting up but the people came but luckily they had friends bail and an extra lot :) ). after i finished setting up i took my road bike out (my icon picture) and got pizza (random) then passed out under the stars. i woke up and opened a can of ghetto chicken chili that i didnt manage eating at coachella and attempted to heat it up with a portable butane stove. the damn stove was too old and i cut my thumb open and ended up using a "neighbors". afterwards i took my bike out of my trunk again and rode around yosemite looking like a jackass in rolled up jeans and my tommys burgers hat. after my shorty ride i peaced on out of yosemite and began heading towards sacramento. i arrived around 3 and had to shit. subway, eat fresh. so i didn't eat fresh, so what? my sister was at work still at the capital so i... take a guess, took my bike back out of my trunk and rode around capital and looked at memorials old/new i havent seen since the 7th grade. she calls me and tells me to come up, etc. i lock me bicicleta to my sisters bike (she rides her bike to work) and head on up to the 6th floor. on my way up i pass the governators office... what a jackass. im still wearing my bike messenger clothing and as i rode around sactown looking at the bike messengers, i did in fact resemble them, great. i hang out with my sister and ride back and then go eat morten's for the first time. shiet was bomb. im 125lbs and i ate that shit clean. filet mignon por favor. anyway next day i wake up and head towards san francisco for lunch. meet up with an old friend at his place on haight and ashbury and then get some mediterranean wraps. damn delicious. he actually owed me 200 and jipped me over, over a year ago for a comptech sway/tie for my em1 and never delivered the product but i put that in the past. he ended up kindly repaying me without me mentioning a word regarding it. clean slate and +1 in my book. so i head back around 2:20 because i have to be in la for a art show at 8...
i missed bits of detail like the incredible drive in the mountains near yosemite, the incredible drive driving out of yosemite, and other stuff like... stopping by two in and outs on the way up north, getting jamba juice in yosemite city (random) and seeing cute hipster girls, buying a kids tent in walmart in bakersfield.

i meant to write something about how beneficial this full nose mask is but i ended up writing a blog of something. get the mask, it'll save your front end. i love the damn thing. it stays in my trunk until i go somewhere involving hazardous projectiles aimed at my front end and it goes on in less than 10 minutes. here are some photos.

... and i left because i start school this week. tomorrow im heading to magic in vegas. i went solo because "i gotta do me".

Awesome. I love Yosemite. Just make sure you don't leave ANY food (or anything smelly for that matter) in your car because the smell attracts bears. I don't know if you saw the Pimp My Ride episode where a brown bear got into a girls Ford Contour and just tore it up inside and out! Nice whirlwind of a trip through the state!

yeah i saw some photos of bears tearing up a car and it reminded me of the deer in tommyboy that destroyed the convertible. i installed the progress sway bar right before i left and it made the drive soooo nice. i just got home from vegas right now by the way. ive been loving my car this past week...

haha i just re-read this and it reminds me of steve carell in anchorman explaining to ron that a womans period can attract bears... then the other guy coming in going "good job now u have the whole station in jeopardy"
