Not new, switched rides, got parts, anyway lots of pics.

Hey whats up everyone? Name is Ryan and I live around Baltimore. I don't post a whole lot but I use the site and you guys for information. Anyway had a 06 EX which I was unhappy with so I traded for a 06 SI. I am very happy with the car and got a great deal 18,900 for the car. The car had been keyed before sale so they repainted the entire car. Anyway I know some people would be like no way but that kinda deal plus they did a factory job, you can't even tell. Anyway the one thing the dealership did do was put a screw in my license plate frame
. So when I get some money I will have the hole shaved and filled. Anyway on with the pics. Current mods to the SI are XenonDepot 6000K, Comptech SS, DC5 shift boot, 20% tint, and Viper alarm with pager. Lots of mods to come so keep looking for updates like below.

Heres the old EX. I wish they made SI's in Atomic Blue....Oh well

And the new ride

Got back from vacation in Ocean City today and look what was waiting for me!!

Ha thats funny ROJO, yeah I have been a firefighter/paramedic now for like 7 years or so. The firehouse in the background is my detail spot. Its nice because you can wash and was in a bay, out of the heat and you hose, and electrical outlets in close proximity. I live in apartment right now so its better then a car wash. I never checked in the MYAZNGF plate at DMV. MYASNGF made more sense since the abbreviation for Asian is ASN on most paperwork and such. Smart people understand the tag but I get alot of "um whats you tag mean" and then you tell them and there like "your girlfriends asian" and I'm like yep buddy you got it and walk away.

You got the coilovers? Who did you order them from? Mine were ordered directly from Tein and they were on back order. I can't wait to put them on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice ride! Great plate

Yeah well getting the coilovers was the biggest pain in my ass. I ordered over four weeks ago from Showstoppers and two days later I got a email saying they shipped. Well after two weeks they didn't come. Then I called and got BS run around from them and no answers for two more weeks so I said F-you and cancelled my credit card payment to them and called Tai at Corsport. I ordered them from him three days ago and although it was 80 dollars more his TEIN dealer had them instock and they shipped that day. His customer service is excellent. He calls you back when he says he will. Anyway I get all my packages delievered to the firehouse I work at. So I came home from vacation today to pick up the package and the box says Showstoppers on it. So I got another set still coming from Corsport and since I wasnt around to sign for them I couldn't refuse the package from Showstoppers. So now I am stuck because the payment to them is in dispute, Corsport has already charged my card, and I will have to pay 100+ dollars I'm sure to ship them back to Showstoppers on my dollar. I would love to sell them to someone closer shipping distance so the freight is less, or someone who could pick them up. I havent made a decision what I am going to do but either way I have two sets of TEIN SS at a total cost of about 2500 dollars sitting in my living room right now. Any suggestions are welcomed.

I think the best thing to do is return it to ShowStoppersUSA after the dispute has been settled.

As for your ride, it's sweet...! Anymore shots of the HIDs? I'm thinking about purchasing a kit from XenonDepot as well, but I'm stuck inbetween 6K or 8K. Looks like 6K has the look I'm going for. How would you say the glare is?

I think I will prob. return the coilovers to Showstoppers just to be a ass. I will lose money be shipping them back to them but they will have to hold those coilovers til someone wants a open box set, so most likely they will go in the showroom and they will sit on them for a while. If I could sell locally I wouldn't lose my ass but???? It sucks to lose money because a company had piss poor customer service.

As far as my XenonDepot kit goes I love them and they are great quality. I have a spare set at home that I can use if a ballast or bulb goes bad. (which I will not go into details about how I got that) But so far knock on wood I have had no problems. Their customer service department is good and they do respond to emails. I was weary at first cuz they are in Canada. Light output is amazing They light up the road at least 3 times more then stock. The color on the 6000K is white with a hint of purple. I wish they had a little more purple in them. There's a guy with a Scion XB and he has some unknow HID kit on his but they are white/purple but have alot more purple in them then mine do and they look sweet. The look badass on warm up. If I were you I would go with 6000K. The 8000K are going to be blue, 4300 are to white for my likeing and anything above the 8000 the light output will be crap compared to 4300-6000K. Hope that helps, I will post some more HID pics tomorrow.

Hey, hey, hey, what's wrong with Canada? Just messing! They're located approximately 3 hours from me. So, when I order it, no duty fees!

I've e-mailed XenonDepot before and they got back to me the same hour or something. It was really surprising. I hate how you have to order from them using a verified PayPal account. Dammit. I'm CC friendly but I'm too lazy to go through PayPal.

You know what I looked into your situation. If you want, just let me know and I will take those coilovers back and give you a full refund including shipping. We screwed up on your order and tried to fix the situation but it took a little longer than expected. Just shoot me a PM if you want to do that. Sorry again for the trouble and congrats on the new ride.
