just a few questions (yes alrdy did the search button nothing comes up) and I'm not about to read tru 487 pages just to find it.

planning on doing fd1 front, so my questions is will fd2 or fd2r fenders fit the fd1 bumper?
or am i stuck with fd1 fenders?
OEM FD2 fenders will not fit the FD1 bumper since they are wider and vice versa (FD1 fenders will not fit FD2 OEM front bumper).

You can use either FD2 or FD1 fenders with a FD1 front end or FD2 bumper. They are interchangeable with each other; i.e., FD2 front end with FD1 Fenders. Having a winder fender will not affect the fitment with the bumper, it just sticks out wider. Only thing you will have issue with is your fender liner obviously being not wide enough

It'll line up with either one. The difference is like pulling your fenders. It's just 1mm wider. The average joes eye's wouldn't catch it at a quick glance. You'd have to look at 2 cars one fd1 and one fd2 and look from one to the other. You benefit from the fd2 because you can run a wider wheel up front then the fd1 without modification and as much camber.

Finally came across a pic. It's another post where someone had a car with the Si Spoiler:

Also you can get the idea from the CSX with the Si spoiler:

Agreed. Hands down the cleanest conversion out there due to the fact that everything is OEM.
