Wtf! This world sucks!hit and run! Wtf!

so last nite i went to my nite class at 7pm...the parking lot was PACKed with cars...so i didnt have the luxury to pick a nice cozy isolated spot....and this is what happen when i got out of my class....

i used scratch X and waxed it the 1st thing i got home....there is minor paint damage but MAJOR DING in the FREAKING FRONT! i assume some asswipe hit my car and took off...cause i was in class when this happened

how much is this gonna cost me to repair??????\

i was thinking maybe i can just pop it back out? take out the wheel, remove the wheel cover...and get a hammer?

I'm sorry to hear that. I need to start doing my idea of writing down the license plates of the cars parked next to me before I go in stores and whatnot, that way if something happens, I'll have someone to go after.
I always park way out in the parking lot hoping that something like this won't happen.

you could try popping it out. As far as the scratches, looks like you could buff them out. get ahold of Rasky, hes REALLY good with that kinda thing.

Body lines are tricky.

Too many @$$holes and idiots in this world.

Poping it out looks easy. However, it requires specialized tools and expirence. Unless you were going to take it to a bodyshop anyway, I wouldn't touch it. I'd let a PDR professional take a look at it.

I luvit whenu call me big papa
DO NOT hammer the dent from the inside. Your paint WILL CRACK trust me on this one. You will do more damage by trying this method.

Your only possibility would be calling a dent repair specialist in your area and hoping they can pop it out. It is most likely that with that dent you will not be able to do so because it is on such a big crease in the fender.

Body shops are going to rape you on that one, but again I would try a few dent repair guys first.

You are at a minimum of $400 for a DECENT body shop to repair this. A good body shop would just replace the whole fender as bondo and other similar brands are going to have stretch marks from where the damage was.

If you listen to anything in this thread listen to this; If you have a bodyshop repair this make sure that you get a really good bodyshop because if your as anal as me you will NEVER be satisified with your car again after damage. A bad bodyshop can make you leave with even more problems including paint flaking ESPECIALLY at the edges and corners where they don't prep correctly.

Anyways, best of luck to you.
