Any Tango Red Pearl owners out there?

Does any of the members here own a Tango Red Pearl Civic? I've found myself really liking this color all of a sudden. If there are any, post em up!

Huh? Tango red pearl? Isn't that a CRV colour?:face-icon

It'd look really good on a Civic though.

Yeah. He's probably referring to Habanero.

Actually, the CR-V and Accord Sedan share the color Redondo Red Pearl. Tango Red Pearl is exclusive to the Civic Sedan like Rallye Red is exclusive to the Civic Coupe EX and Si.

Oh. I thought the CRV looked closer to the MDX in colour. I like how it has an almost blueish hue to the red. It keeps it less "orangy" I've never seen a sedan in that colour. Yes, our dealerships get the blandest of choices.

I hear the MDX's are in a real sales slump right now. Is this true for your dealership?

Yes, theres a concept for the '07 models that is killing this years model. Plus the RDX will be out in August. Most dealerships have too many MDXs right now. They drive like a car and the touring have a killer sound system. I don't car if I popped out 5 kids tomorrow, I still wouldn't drive one. There minivans indisguise.

I prefer the Pilot myself. My father is the GM of a Honda dealership and i work in the Service Dept. and even the Pilot is having trouble selling because it's a bit too stale and boring. But you've gotta love that 255HP engine under the hood! :)

Working in the Service Dept. and in the lots of a Honda dealership, I have driven alot of different types of cars. Of the Acuras, i've driven the TL, TSX, and MDX, and my fav. is the TSX. I hear that the TL was directed towards the older buying demographic. Does that apply with who you've sold them to or are many different age groups buying the TL?

Yes, the average age is 45+

I think maybe one guy bought one who was around 25. He bought that as his daily driver so he could turn his civic hatch into a monster. Go figure?

Great!! If you hang around in there long enough and watch the mechanics, you'll be an expert in no time. :)
