Official Intro..(FINALLY got the car thursday night!)

With that said, after a looooong week of waiting and a sleepless night on wednesday, I took delivery of my Fiji Blue FA5 on thursday night. One thing I'd like to get out of the way now, is the fact that I've never owned a top tier car.
Example, I had a Golf 1.8T as my first new car, but the GTI was the top end car with the leather, and suspension , etc etc, my next car was an Audi A4 1.8T quattro, once again,a nice car, but the S4 is the dogs balls. This time around, I said, if I'm doing a nice car, I may as well go all out. So glad I did.

Coming from a heavy boat of an A4 this thing is a dream!!! Some of you may think your Si is a pretty good car and there are some things you can change, for me....it's perfect!! The seats are sporty (and fat kid friendly! ), the sliding armrest and shifter are perfect where they are (though I ordered the TWM ss, ss mount bushings and tranny bushings anyways), the stock exhaust (please forgive me) sounds good just the way it is. V-tec is a kick in the ass, I love the fact that I can rev, no wait, that I HAVE to rev a car that high and it won't fall apart on me. The stock suspension isn't too bad, might be a bit stiffer, but then you compromise ride quality. The only issue I have.......is rpm hang. If I shift around 3k-3.5k, it isn't bad, over that, the rpms hang and it makes driving around town a chore. I have gotten nothing but compliments on it so far, and have even gotten a couple "that's a civic???" comments. It's great. The Fiji blue color just pops in the sunlight, and the interior (my opinion and my gfs opinion) is like lowering yourself into a race car or a jet-fighter. (tell me it's not true, I dare ya!) lol I took some VW friends of mine for a spin the other night and they promptly put their cars up for sale and are hunting down Si's. go me!

Ok, enough typing, I'm going back out, I have some nice twisty roads the next down over that I have to go try out...brb.
