New Si FA5 owner returning to his Honda roots! (pics!! 56k blah)
Hello ladies and germs!
I've been a member on this board for about 2 months now and decided to take the plunge and buy '08 FBP Si Sedan w/navi (wanted something sporty with a decent gas mileage). This community seems to be one of the best communities I've seen in a long time with zero tolerance. Besides reading the posts here crack me up , tint, alarm immobilizer, 3 years of oil changes/tire hazard/towing, and GAP. Well enough of me ranting. Here are some pics of the Si and my last 2 previous cars. I'll try to remember the mods I put (yes I don't like shops touching my rides!) on my previous cars. Oh btw I'm going to mod her but keep it the stock and low key look. Don't need to attract anymore attention. Aw, you used to have 2 different corrados! My best friend in HS used to have a G60. That car is SO badass but damn if the passenger front seat was cramped, the back was a joke but that's some classic VW goodness. Hows your impressions of the SI so far performance wise? Yeah, I'm 27 and was into the scene in the late 90's and on as well. Gotta say, it was way cooler when not everyone knew what car modding was and didn't immediately compare my car to F&F... back in 98 with my old prelude with full bolt ons, Neuspeed Race springs and 16 inch TSW blades - people would just stare and not understand what was different and why the engine sounded the way it did, ha! Anyways, welcome! I've been on many a car forum, used to be a die hard ClubSI.com guy since 99' but that one went to sh.it. This is prob the most active helpful community I've come across thus far!

Insurance and mileage basically. My insurance was hosing me because the SRT is considered a sports car. Farmers auto rating is based on A-Z then 0-??, A being the lowest to insure, the SRT was a 6 lol. My agent told me I was in the same class as V8 Mustangs. The SRT sucked on gas mileage, filling up with premium every 4 days started to suck. Especially with today's prices
