I NEED HELP!! I've taken apart my dash following the steps in this thread 07 Full audio system install (updated as I have time)

but the problems that I cant get the two bolts/screws out that are above the pocket next to the aux input and cig lighter.. In the guide it says to use a 9mm socket, but for the life of me, that doesnt fit! is it that I have a bad socket?? Should i try a friends set?? What size are they? Can anyone say 100% what size is needed? Thanks!!

You also can use a phillips screwdriver. Get in under there and look for yourself. Should work.

Good luck!

Nope, just muster up some heart and pull with intent.

It takes the same about the amount of effort as crushing a beer can X number of clips.
so if the panel has 4 of them... then it takes good effort.

A piece like the back deck or door panels you need to do in parts (like one or two at a time across the part)

Locate the clip in you mind from the pic's and pull hard and fast about 1-3 inches or 4-8 cm, not much more is needed .

Pretty much, yeah. Be sure to get those bolts underneath first.

In the picture you just posted, near the bottom it says "bolt." Those are the bolts.

Click here, you'll see the full dash removal. Follow steps 6-11.

You can't download it due to restrictions where you are? Or you can download it, but you can't open it?

If you can download it but can't open, use this program.

Then, try again.

What about door panels on a coupe.

I've had them replaced twice, and the idiots can't seem to fix the ****** things. They squeak like an old grandfather chair, and none of the god damn clips seem to want to hold them in.
