I'll be doing this to mine very shortly. But I'll be using Stainless. Just have to measure them out.

I thought about using stainless but went with aluminum instead because it was softer therefore easier to cut, since I only had a dremel to work with..

which brand of double sided tape did you use? also, is there a gap between the door sill and the cover caused by the tape? if yes, does water get trapped in between when you wash the car?

if you were to do it again, anything different you would do?

If you plan to do this for a sedan. The front size is 23" long by 1 7/8" wide. The rear is 9 3/4" long by 1 7/8" wide. This should cover the most area.

I'm making mine out of 1/16" thick stainless steel and I'm getting a 90° bend put on one edge.

To answer the water question. If you leave a gap you can let the water out but if you prefer cover the most you can with the tape. Then there will be no way for the moisture to enter.

I really want to do this, but want Si decals. Putting "Civic" sills on an Si is rice.

Go to a local sign shop and get some made. I bet they would be less than $.03/ea.

Should have my SST ones done this week. I'll post pictures when I get them on.

Just wondering, but why is putting Civic stuff on a Si "Rice"? Last I checked, the Si was still a Civic.
