Its just sort of a gray/tan color... No suede like the SI's have, we Ex's just have a perforated hard plastic there.

i have a TW EX and I just bought some faux suede from Joann that's about the same color as the door rests/seat material. I think that should look better than the ugly-ass plastic there.

Very true. My wife suggested the same... I would like something that stands out a bit, but finding something that stands out in a GOOD way is difficult, so as usual stealth and subtlety looks like it will win out.

If you have GG, you could match the color of your exterior and get away with it well, since GG is pretty close to your interior colors of dark brown and beige/ivory. I tried white panels in my white EX and it just stands out poorly. You have it easier. GG would just be another shade of brown in our sea of brown interior.

was it necessary to use that epoxy stuff where the holes were drilled? and do you really need to drill those tabs out?

Yeah pretty much if you want a clean install, even the Honda Tech that I had over at my house while I was doing it suggested the exact same thing. If your worried about damaging it though, don't worry, I didn't and this was the first DIY I ever took on, and I have absolutely no experience with cars whatsoever. The one thing I suggest is that instead of using a drill to drill the tabs, I'd just get the drill bit, and a cloth and do it yourself so that its nice and slow so you don't drill too far.

Nice Job on all them! Say how hard would it be to replace the fabric where you rest your arm also? Does that piece screw off from the underside?

Yes it does screw off, how hard it would be though, I dunno, I'd say definately harder than this.

FYI i did mine like almost two weeks ago using the 3m super 77 i just sprayed the door and now the fabric isnt adhering to the door. im gonna take it apart and spray the door panel along with the fabric. spraying the fabric in a quick motion should prohibit any bleed through of the adhesive and allow the two surfaces to actually stick to each other

Wow, sorry it didn't work out for you. Jeremy's (esx005) has yet to bubble or begin to peel anywhere yet.

Hope you get everything worked out man.
