No, the sedan one is horrible to do.
There is only 3 screws per door with the sedan, so you have to drill a lot more and glue a lot more back together. Where as the coupe there is enough screws that you do not really need to worry about glueing it. |

Well I'll tell you what. I'm waiting for some money to come through on a transaction. Once that happens I'll be doing my interior. I have an 06 EX Sedan, and I'll post that up on my build site. I don't want to do it here, that way I don't take away from the OP's thread. But if he doesn't mind I'll post up a link to my build thread when I get the interior done.

Ya I was looking at that fabric as well... anyone buy the pre cut material? are the same steps needed to install the pre cut material? Because I would think it would be easier to install the pre cut some how.

I've never bought it, well even seen it for that matter, but it seems like installation wouldn't be much different. Still have to take the door panels apart and put them on. Why not just cut material and put it on? Just thought.

And a precut one is just as easy to install and what I am talking about. Seriously, go do it this way. Plus if your mom is crafty, the left over pieces can be used for little things around your car. |

Depends on which ones your are talking about, I also have a FG2 so take my words with a grain of salt. But there are some clips that will just come off with either a screw driver, or pulling on them. BUT there are a few that you will need to drill out, AND BE CAREFUL. If you go to far, you will drill into your car, and that will not make you happy. And also remember to get the epoxy glue, you will need that when you are done, and trying to redo what you drilled out.

Alright, so I finished doin my doors tonight.
The 2 pictures below shows the screws and tabs that you need to remove. The first is the driver side front door and the second is one of the rear doors. ![]() ![]() As previously mentioned by the OP, the easiest way to remove the tabs is to drill them. Don't go too far or else you'll go through your door. I personally found the front doors to be a lot easier than the rear ones, especially when it came to pulling the inserts out. Skipping ahead, here's what the 4 pieces look like with the red fabric adhered. ![]() When it came time to put the door inserts back, instead of using just epoxy for all the drill holes I made, I used #8 3/4" screws in many of the holes. If, for whatever reason, I need to take apart my doors again I only need to drill 4 or 5 epoxy spots per door. I only used the screws in parts of the door where the plastic screw holes were taller, and used epoxy for the shorter holes. If you decide to do this route, I'd recommend using 1/2" screws to be safe. Here's an example below. ![]() And here's the finished product. I'll post pics tomorrow of them on my car since it's dark outside. ![]() Hope this helps my sedan buddies!
