i bought my fabric from a hancock fabric. oh ya my .02 is to get about 60 or 70 for extra, #14 sheet metal/general purpuse screws. i found the epoxy was the biggest pain in the ass to work with. so i just barely drilled out the plastic welds and used an exacto knife to seperate the rest of the welds. then when i put it back together just used the screws anywhere i could.
i have picks but havent put them on my computer yet. if you got any questions just PM me. it took me about 9 hours over 2 days, but like you in a perfectionist, so that dont help. plus the extra time to redo things if i cut the material wrong/etc. oh ya, i found half the parts fought you when you tried to put them back on. like the cushion on the arm rest on the door. it has 5 clips going opposite directions for each one, AND 4 screws holding it in. but ya if you got any questions just PM me. ill help ya anyway i can. matt |

nope that is it. just because when your putting them in as they can be a little long, and start to pop through to the other side, you could use #12 if you want, they are a little smaller, but the #14 worked together. oh ya the sedan is the one you need all the screws. but i would suggest that no matter what car you have add screws into places that there were plastic welds. go to a local, and i mean like local, like ace hardware or true value, or small hometown hardware store and get the screws there. tell them you are looking for the #14 sheet metal screws, or a general all purpose self tapping screw that is that same size. if you got any more questions just PM me. I got it down now after doing it. |

well my thought is even on the coupe, might as well replace the plastic ones with screws to make ti even stronger. if you use a 13/64 drill bit or even a little smaller you can drill out just the middle of the plastic rivits, and leave plenty of plastic left that is already on tehre. give the screws more to hold on to. now again mind it you dont have to, i just look at it for the future.
if your going to do more mods to the door might as well make it easy on yourself later by doing it now ya know? and cmcdonald, thx for the comment. PS cbeyer2, if you need help and cant figure something out, i dont live all that far from ya, just shoot me a PM and if im not busy i might be able to shoot up and help ya out |

here it is, finally done (hope it works, first time adding pics)
i do have the say for some damn reason the drivers side front door, was the BIGGEST pain in the butt to get off/put together. it fought me the whole way. espeically putting the arm cushion back on. those damn, 5 clips it needs for some reason, of course the one that is under the handle part and you cant reach was the one!!!. next project, custom gauge pods |

Thanks for the screw advice! I'm rarely in naperville since I'm goin to school but I really appreciate the offer! I've already done my doors, but i tried to use hot glue to put the plastic pieces back together instead of screws and a few have popped lol. I'll send ya a pm if I'm doin any work on em at home, or need some advice! |

well if i wasnt watching tv, and jacking around a little bit, it can easily be done in under 5 hours total. half my problem was i was trying to run wires for hte ambient light in the door handles too and that ate up alot of time. id say just take off the back to panels and do them in your garage at night while watching tv or listen to music, then same for front two. it will go quickly if you ask me.
