I'd like to do this on my EX. The panels would be a grey/black almost like the stock armrests but I'd want it to be a bit darker. I want to do the panels, armrests, and console armrest so it all matches.

Update
I got the black Butter Suede fabric the other day. Good price at only $13.?? for two yards. Expect some pictures from me sometime this coming weekend (Spring Break, woohoo!).

just found this thread today. great job, +rep... funny thing is, i've set up an order with Auger Resources for some fabric. The real ultrasuede is about $80-$100 a yard and i don't need a whole yard, so they're gonna sell me a couple small pieces for a good price. doing mine next weekend, so much for being the first one to do it!

This is going to be a future mod for me. Thinking I would take it to a pro (i suck at DIY). Already talked to a couple of shops and they said they'd be able to help. My preference is to get red perforated leather on the door panels as well as the seats (have the black fabric, not the suede part, replaced with red leather to have a two tone look). I think it'd look hot (it would resemble the interior of my S2k).

Yes, I AM A WOMAN!
I want to do this to my EX. I was thinking that it might be possible to do this without taking the door apart? My thought was to spray the area I want with the adhesive, attach the fabric and use a screwdriver to "wedge" the ends of the fabric between the panels. Do you think that would work? I'm just nervous about taking my car apart.
