do you know of any way how to run the aux wire from the an aftermarket head unit (its in the back) and connect it to the stock one that comes with the car???

ive been asking around this forum all around the forum
but it seems like either no one knows or no one watsn to answer me....and looking to see how to do it.... i dont want to take the risk of cutting into the wire till i know all my options

i did this earlier today. i have the stock stereo so i pulled out the aux housing from the back and ran the entire thing under console. now i just put the cap back on the aux hole and it looks 100% normal.

Took apart the center console which took me FOREVER (im a bit inept when it comes to this kind of stuff) only to find out that this doesnt work for a stock head unit.

you need to just rip it apart. and why would you need to do this since the stock HU already has a aux jackpoint?

This is a really good one ... i put another power output source in the center counsel so when i have the ipod hooked up it wont drain the power of it. Really awesome
