JUST?!!? Yes, that's pretty much what Homelink is, a universal remote control for opening garage doors.

Yes, but can it 315?

Sorry to bring a thread back from the dead, but I have a question for those that are using this mirror.

Do you know if it works with the newer garage door openers?

After 04/05 Chamberlain and other garage door opener manufacturers changed from 390MHz to 315MHz.

It would suck to spend this kind of cash on a remote that doesn't work.

Ditto that on my 2007 EX Coupe as well same wire color and pin location. Just wire tap the hot wire from the mirror to the green wire with a silver stripe.

I have it installed now (I got the Base Mirror w/ compass only) - the compass calibrated on 1st half of the 3 circles you drive. I also used the right mounting screw/ground lug location to that works/looks good too.

Also, I didn't order it correctly. I got the Mirror with compass, and the mounting kit - but forgot the short wire cover. Parts you should order are:
Short Wire Cover: 50-9010079001M
Foreign Mounting bracket: 50-901160M
Mirror of your choice.

Note that the wire covers are not on the dealer pricing site - I guess that is why I missed it. I had to order that from the standard site for $11.12 shipped here:

Question: Is the +12V (light blue) wire a constant or does it lose power 10-15 min after the car is shut off (i.e. power is shut off to keep map lights that are left on fom draining the battery)?

Would this mirror work if you had the wire install kit for the honda auto dim mirror?

no moonroof

Is it necessary to have a moonroof for this install? Or does the maplight suffice for wiring requirements..
My new EX doesn't have a moonroof but I definitely want a homelink mirror. Can anyone advise? Thanks!!
