He probably raised the price because the part is now discontinued.

I ordered the same part from an Acura dealership back in December, and Honda Canada told them 77295-SNR-C51ZB is no longer available. The replacement part # is identical except an "A" replaces the "B".

As it happens, I just picked up 77295-SNR-C51ZA today. From what I can tell, it's identical to the other one (but bear in mind that I never saw 77295-SNR-C51ZB in person. I also never realized that there's a sloped "indentation" or something inside the storage compartment box, so it's effectively rather smaller than the stock Si's. I wonder if this might be to make room for something related to the the climate controls in the CSX. I also got the Touring model's cup assembly to colour-match the console box, but maybe they didn't sell many cars without the climate-control, so that's why they discontinued the console box part...? Who knows. She said the part I wanted was probably discontinued because of some manufacturing problem with it, but again, she couldn't be sure).

The woman at Acura wasn't sure of any difference, but she said the letter in the part# is normally to indicate a colour difference (which makes sense, because Honda console parts I've seen for Civics with different interiors have different letters to distinguish their part #s). But I held the new part next to my Si's dash and it looked identical to me.If I get a chance I will post a picture of the parts I got...none are installed yet though, and may not be for a while (at least until it gets warmer and less snowy outside).

After taxes it came to $104 and change (Canadian). The cup-holder assembly was about a dollar or two less.
I got both at Acura of Hamilton -- I didn't know about NBPRudy's much better deal. Anyway, I paid a little more than others, but that dealership is close to my home and seemed to involve the least hassle.
Here are some pics:

It looks like the interior "box" piece could be unscrewed and swapped for the somewhat larger one of the Si (but as Cybergypsy said, there's not much difference in the amount of space. The opening on the Acura piece is smaller though).

I wasn't so sure from the eBay pictures, but I must say these are really nice-looking pieces. (The cup-holder assembly is still in the box in my trunk, so, sorry, I don't have any pictures of that).

Now if there was a door for that compartment just above the console... Reminds me of a Chevy truck I had, lots of compartments, but no covers, so stuff can go flying...

I went to the Acura dealer yesterday (I live in Ottawa Canada), the parts guy looked up the part on his computer in front of me, and I was able to see the dealers cost and retail price. The dealer cost is $54, and they're selling it for $90 canadian.

That is 40% markup

The guy was pretty embarrassed that I saw their cost on his screen.

I am glad I bought mine, I love it. Now I am just waiting for the CSX drink console to arrive some time next week. Install is gonna be fun......I think I will have to find a DIY before I tear my car apart.

The center console I had installed with no problems, I had ordered one for my buddy and he was about to call Honda to have them install it for him. I laughed and grabbed his keys and my tools and had his installed in minutes as well. I am unsure where to even start ripping my car apart for the drink console.

The area where we are able to put our drinks, the slide that came with our honda's does not have the little chrome peice on the handle. That is what I ordered from Acura. I wanted it to match the center console.

It is a bit of a different shade in mine but since I replaced the drink console it matches perfectly.
