There are pins that are holding the H emblem atleast about 9 i think but all you need to do is use a box cutter.

It looks ugly as sin right now and want to fix it, but the only option I can think of is to get the airbag cover from somewhere and change them out. You can NOT take the chrome emblem off -- here is a pic of what it looks like on the backside:

Replacement airbag/cover retails for about $600. Found it here for $423, plus a hefty shipping charge:

Honda Automotive Parts

I'm assuming that^ includes a new airbag, due to the price.

eBay has the covers alone for around $60, but they charge like $20 for shipping:

NEW OEM HONDA CIVIC FIT 07 08 AIRBAG COVER STEERING : eBay Motors (item 170405613914 end time Apr-09-10 22:38:58 PDT)

Welcome!

Right, but the back of that emblem has pins that go all the way through and hold it onto the airbag cover (1st pic I posted). To remove the emblem, you have to take off the airbag cover and melt or cut all those pins.

It's not like the older civics and accords, where they were just glued on.
