Care to elaborate on how you used the dremel to mod the LED? From what I am gathering you are saying you took a sanding drum to the curved end of the LED and sanded it flat... is that corrrect?

I'm sure you can connect it to any power source you'd like, but I'm not sure how much more difficult it would be...you'd have to wire it outside the doors, which is not something i felt like doing, honestly. |

Are any of the controls illluminated on the passenger side door? Because if so, couldn't you have these LED's come on with the illuminated door controls, so that they only come on with your headlights?
For me, it would almost be worth sacrificing the passenger side light to have them come on with the headlights. |

As for the passenger illumination, you can tap it into your door lock button maybe... |

Just to be aware....tap it into your door lock button will light---up all the time when key in ignition is on position or engine is running. There no fade----off.
