K&N replacement filter

Im lookin for a lil more power, but i cant really do n e thin to mess with the engine (parents...) But I was thinkin, if i add a K&N replacement filter do u guys think it'll add a couple more horses and hopefully save me a couple of dollars of gas money? I Looked it up on the K&N website and it sed their rep. filters add upto 4 more horses, but im wondering if it meant for rep. filters? Anybody got n e helpful ifo? Thanks

it barely dose anything the only time u notice any difference in power is when u hit Vtec and thats the only time that the filter will make a difference as for gasmilage havn't noticed a difference save your 50$

i think this is the wrong section for the question...

but here goes anyway...

i doubt you'll feel any gains from a drop in filter... getting a short ram or a cold air intake will give you the gains you'll feel... you'll parents will be able to notice that if they open the hood and know anything about how it looked like before...
