DIY on CAI?

Can anyone do a DIY on installing a CAI? I don't think it would be too hard, but I wanna get a good idea of how long and how much work it would take. Also. . what's the best brand? Should I just wait for K&N?

in my opinion its one of the easiest mods out there. It's just unbolting and bolting back up. I haven't checked out the actual set up yet since my cai hasn't come in just yet (leave it to delays in delivery). I'll see what i can do for ya

Could someone post a DIY on a short ram intake. I assume it would be nearly the same as CAI besides positioning. I am planning on getting the injen short ram intake for my Si, if anyone has put one of those, or the AEM SRI, could you post a DIY?

well, the aem cai is not that difficult to put in, but the stock intake is a biatch to take out! i was by myself and it took me 3 hours to get the cai in...2.5 of that was removing the stock crap...if you're going to put it in, i definately recommend going to outerwears.com and picking up a prefilter for it...my cai sucked up water in a bad rain storm and choked the motor out...i thought i hydrolocked but no...the water was almost half way up the tube (no, i didn't submerge it). an easy mod that makes the car sound badass!!! believe me
