P2R Throttle Body Spacer dyno with I/H/E??

Does anyone with Intake, Header, Exhaust have dyno number before and after the throttle body spacer install?? I have only seen stock cars with the throttle body spacer, and they all pick up around 5whp... But I'm just trying to see if it will indeed pick up 5whp range if you have I/H/E already installed.

Personally I think P2RG+P2RSPACER+P2RG is the same as putting on an aftermarket CAI... I would rather have the spacers with stock intake then just a plan ole CAI + P2R....

So what your saying is if your civic makes

180whp with stock intake

It will make

185whp with stock intake and P2R spacer
185whp with CAI w/o P2R Spacer
185whp with CAI w/ P2R Spacer

So with this said the only gains are made using the stock intake system in conjunction with the spacer.... is this correct?

I just have yet to see any dyno's with this spacer and an aftermarket intake system

the spacer is probably getting heat soaked after the first run on the dyno, hence why no gains were seen in later pulls. Mabye with the special gaskets from corsport, on either side of spacer, it would eliminate this problem a little. Personally its an ok idea, but made of the wrong material.

True but i has been proven to work, and it's made from aluminium.

I was only addressing the issue of the dyno numbers. Yes, it works well, but for what its worth its seems that more complications and concerns are associated with the spacer, not to say that i wouldn't get it myself How hot would you say the IM gets??

That would be the only + but its is too close to the IM anyway, some sort of guage mabye, but what I dont know. For those who have this did you notice any real world gains?

wel guys if u wanna get rid of heat soak theres a few things u can do.. 1, get a 22lb pound bad of ice, and make sure it covers your THROTTLE BODY....NOT just your intake mani! 2..get a computer duster can...and turn it upside down to realease frezzing cold C02, gently mist your engine bay and then get about 5 feet from your filter cone (cai) or pop open ur stock airbox and spray your filter tray....make sure ur not to close bc u can crack plastic with this stuff...and truely by far the most important, when ur in the staging laned make sure u put it in N and have freidns push u through the lanes...and when ur abour 4 cars away from racing, turn it on, and roll the windows up...yurn on the heater in your car as high as you can (yah youl b hot! but grab ur friken stones and ball up) the heater will take hot air from the bay and put it in your car, and lastly dont be a dumb a** and sit there and rev on people! keep it as cool as posible! lol hope this helps some people
