Spoon Venturi Throttle body

Induction is one of the most important parts from the intake to the engine. Once VTEC engages, a huge amount of air is taken in to the engine. With a bigger throttle body it will allow more air flow to the engine therefore increasing more power. J's Racing developed big bore throttle body which outer diameter is 70mm and inner diameter is 64mm. Spoon developed the special taper bore to encourage "VENTURI" effect to increase the air volume and efficiency to the engine. Mid-range power , throttle response and acceleration will be remarkably improved. With the Spoon Throttle Body it comes with new calibrated sensors, therefore allowing an easy install.

Here are detail of the throttle body:

1 - Spoon TB 70mm outer vs stock inner 64mm. A 17% more flow to the engine.

2- Throttle plate changed from 62mm to 64mm. Does not require port matching to intake manifold.

3 - Taper bore outside of the throttle body for flow efficiency.

4 - Taper bore on the other side of the throttle and with the "Venturi effect" flow efficiency will be increased by 8%.

680 CDN Aprox. 635 USD + Shipping

The Spoon Venturi Throttle Body is only for the Si Coupe Si 4 Dr CSX Type S. For now thats all it will fit, Once we get the shipment we will be testing it on other cars to see if it will fit.

Thanks

Calvin

Yeah, can you imagine the engine code for a Si Coupe 4D CSX Type-S? It'd be an FAG25....O_o

With no way to tune for the greater incoming air you are going to run into the exact same issue you run into with CAI's (thanks to sickyute for proving that once and for all). The car will just run rich and get crappy mileage.

With the Thorttle Body the Air Map sensors reads how much air is being put in once it reads the it from the sensors it will send the signal to the ECU, infact it will make the car run leaner thus producing more power. The Throttle body comes with calibrated sensors to work with this thorttle body.
