Yeah I just got emailed back, have to fill out a warranty form and ship the intake back...

Not that the old intake had any use anyway, but it's just a bigger hassle now.

This is where buying from an Authorized Dealer comes into play. There are companies who will try to duplicate AEM's product or companies who are not authorized to sell AEM. Many of the ebay guys aren't authorized dealers and therefore AEM won't cover those purchases under warranty.

ok i filled out the form and my paypal receipt of my purchase i did in ebay/online store on the intake he said "ok everything is a good ship out to "2205 126th Street, Unit A Hawthorne Ca. 90250 " write this number ".

I didn't like the fact since right now i live 600 plus miles away from hawthorne while i always go to long beach (25 mins away from hawthorne) and i can't walk in , i have to ship it ,

coach2fast how long was your experince? is their any physically diffrense from the old intake compared to the new one? i would like this input on everyone else how long all the process took (or atlest everyone that reside in california) oh and m1k3 and anyone else i bought my CAI off http://kurumamotoring.com/ ebay store and they validate it maybe they wont with a regular person selling it but will to a big store? oh well atlest they are fixing their issue wow aem really put a big one on this one huh?

Just to ship the CAI it will cost me a $75+insurance or more from Montreal, Canada to California a long way to go...
Right now I need to take off the CAI from a garage because I could not do it by myself (cold here outside average -20 in feb) extra fees again. Also I need to reinstall the stock one!
So I guess $150+ will be the price just to replace my CAI that I have paid over $300 with install...

So I don't have a fax machine to fax in my invoice and warranty form like the form says...

So I just emailed asking if I can include it in the box. Think that'll work?

I really wanna get this crap piping replaced.
