Wilbert, i was suppose to do that. But, i read its not a good ideA to replace the tube with a small filter.

Are you saying instead of the hose that is connected to the intake, you would put a breather on that one were would the crank case hose go?? Im confused why is there extra places for hoses?

Anyone try it out yet how does this badboy perform. Does it pull harder than or any intakes on the market for that matter does it sound different louder deeper or is it quieter. How is idle and is there any bogging or idle problems, im little dissapointed that they leave a hose hanging like that it seems kinda tacky for soemthing that goes for 450.00. I know battery is included I would expect better execution from a company like password jdm, however the end result is how well does it perform compared to everything else thats out there, thats what will entice me to buy one.

I used Dwn4nythng idea when I tried to make my own air hose. It works perfect. The only thing, I put a little silicone on the inside of the metal inlet (the side that touches hose inside) to to glue it to the silicone hose and let it dry. All you need is :

- 3/8 BRB x 3/8 MPT Barb-MPT Adapter (@ Osh)
- Pin Clip .062" Dia. x1" L (@ Osh)

here is a video he posted. It gives more clear pic how to do it.

Part 1: my intake 2 - Car Videos on StreetFire
Part 2: my intake 3 - Car Videos on StreetFire

It worked really good for me and it was tight. I didnt have any problem with idle. I would recommend to choose drill bit with the right diameter. I tried a few bits on a separate piece of hose and picked the one that was the best. Hope it makes sence. I have my hose still laying in a garage, I can make pics if it wasnt too clear. Once again, its Dwn4nythng idea, not mine and i think it will work perfect for what you are looking for.

Dude. Punctuation. Use it.

And only two people have it now and they're still testing it out.

aimguest54838341: hey
aimguest54838341: i have a question about your 06+ civic si intake
PWJDM REP: YES
aimguest54838341: http://i471.photobucket.com/albums/r...rchamber_5.jpg
PWJDM REP: YEAH I REPLYED TO THAT
PWJDM REP: on the forum
PWJDM REP: recentaly
aimguest54838341: in that picture circled in red, why is the crank case hose not attached
PWJDM REP: because it is not needed to be attached. its basically a blow off
aimguest54838341: so your saying the coupler does not have a nipple to attach it to?
aimguest54838341: it just freely floats in the air?
PWJDM REP: but we are going to supply the hose you have listed on the other intake tube with filter
PWJDM REP: yeah... just like older civic models. you can or can if you want.. all that is, is a blow off for the head
aimguest54838341: i dont get it
aimguest54838341: what tubing are you supplying?
aimguest54838341: i was asking if i would be able to hook up the stock crankcase piece to the intake/tb coupler
PWJDM REP: same as you have in that picture
PWJDM REP: yeah you can also do it like that. but will prob. just supply that tubbing
PWJDM REP: its cheap enough
aimguest54838341: lol dudei
aimguest54838341: i dont understand what tubing your talking about
PWJDM REP: let me link you
PWJDM REP: one sec
PWJDM REP: http://i471.photobucket.com/albums/r...m/IMG_1847.jpg
aimguest54838341: the crank case hose?
PWJDM REP: yeah will supply that white hose
aimguest54838341: if your going to supply that your going to also have to supply a coolant hose because the stock metal one is a combination
aimguest54838341: what im asking is can i use the stock one and does the coupler have a nipple on it for the hose in the first place
PWJDM REP: yeah we are
aimguest54838341: because in the picture the crankcase hose is floating freely correct?
aimguest54838341: becuase if there isnt a nipple on the coupler, and you supply hose, where are the hoses going to connect to..?
aimguest54838341: hello?

the guy you talk to online doesnt know ****. even pwjdm has apologized for the online person not being able to be clear about stuff.. someone def needs to get ahold of somewhere direct and then let everyone know what they say.

thanks bud. Its not my diy, i just took a portion of what Dwn4nythng did. It worked great for me. I think its better than using filter. I really hope all the members will resolve this issue with PWJDM and there won't be need for this. $400 is a lot of money
