Nope, this is how the production model will come... anodized aluminum
The OEM intake will be re-installed, then a baseline will be run. Then the T1R intake will be installed (at the dyno site), and then run again. That way, there won't be significant change in the atmospheric conditions when we do the runs. You'll see the effects of this intake right away (in terms of HP gain). |

The concept package came with a polished pipe. Production one comes with matte black pipe.
They didn't even take pics of the production one. They received this around 2pm, and by 6pm it was already installed in my car :smile: |

Okay I want this and have questions. First can you just buy the lower intake duct,I don't see why you need to change the piping to the airbox, it seems like little to no difference maybe besides the look. but I would enjoy the stealth of this intake. Second I saw a picture of this and do you need any of the stock tubing to connect it to the lower intake. I took all of mine out so I want to make sure if I go to install this that I don't need anything from my stock intake besides the airbox. Ideally all I want is the lower intake duct pipe and connect it.
