Which one first: Injen CAI or oem fogs??

I have a stock SI and I'm getting ready to put some aftermarket parts in, of which an Injen CAI will be the first. I currently don't have fog lights on my SI, but I wanted to ask the ppl who already installed an Injen CAI if it would make a difference between which one I install first? Also, where is the best deal on an Injen CAI because I know showstopper raised the price to $270 right before i decided to get one

Dent

$265 shipped, call them and tell them you are from 8thcivic.com and get a 5% discount.

Get the CAI, I promise you it's far more worth your while than OEM fogs.

i would try calling showstoppers up first and tell them you saw them post up a thread up on fgcoupe.com and try to get it for the price they listed it on their for. (229.00 shipped, i think...) its worth a shot at least.

Install the cai first. Then when you install your fogs you won't have to mess with the wires.

Go with the Injen CAI. Showstoppersusa.com just changed their pricing to $270 shipped.

Fogs only give you more visibilty. CAI gives more power and better sound.

Yea I am definately getting both, but I just wanted to see if it would be easier to install the cai without the fogs so I can know which one to put on first.

I'd get the cai no doubt. but i already got the fogs, and they seem to light up the edges of the road not straightforward but I never had fogs so maybe that's what they're supposed to illuminate? iono

Well, the front bumper comes off when you install both of them. Mine came with the OEM fogs so I am not sure how easy the fog install is.

Wait until you get both parts to install them. Then you can pull the bunmper once and make the CAI install easier

Thats what I was thinking, why remove the bumper twice. Even if you are able to do the CAI without removing the bumper, its already off and makes it that much easier.

I never thought about that but that does seem like the easiest thing to do, both at once.

In all reality, what do you NEED first? If you driving in conditions meritting fog lights, by all means... If not, I guess the CAI could come first.
