I'd like to offer up correction to the AEM part of this. Their revised design is not a V2 intake. People were labeling that because it was their second version or second attempt. This revised intake is still a cold air unit and AEM's V2 Units are short ram designs.

I'm thinking about swapping out my Injen SRI for a fujita SRI, many SC'd users recommended doing this, and I think the reason that reduce bogging is the angle of the Fujita being smoother than the Injen, that's just my guess, and I need someone to back it up, or prove me wrong

anyone knows where can I get the fujita SRI in black, corsport doesn't seem to have them

I can't seem to find any info on this but is AEM's V2 an SRI or a CAI? And are there even any for an '07 fg2? I only see them available up till the '05 Si. Any clues on this?

I changed the thread and put the regular AEM SRI in place of the V2. It seemed like a V2 was out, but it is something that will likely come in the future. Thanks.

All V2 intakes are Short Ram.

AEM makes 3 lines of intakes, Cold Air, Short Ram, and V2. For the 8th Gen civic only the Cold Air and Short Ram are available. The intake that was incorrectly labeled as a "V2" intake in the creation of this thread is in fact not a "V2" intake but a revised design of their cold air intake. The revision includes "vanes" to help the MAF sensor obtain accurate readings. This revision is a response to the numerous customer reported problems of a check engine light and throttle lag.

Some people have chosen to label or call this intake a V2 because it is a second version. Too bad the erroneous information goes uncorrected.

Ah..thank you. That does clear up the confusion i was having. I did hear some good things about the V2 hence i was interested...but we'll just have to wait for our turn i suppose.

The reason I called it that is because Mattelis received one from Z1 performance. He called it "V2". I just used his information. I never started the idea of using V2 FYI.

It's not the 1st time I mentioned it in this thread. What good is posting invalidated and erroneous info? You even went and posted a pic of a AEM V2 intake.

^ I saw that about a year ago, but they seemed to have dropped interest in that intake. If you have info that it is going to be produced, I will include it in the thread.
