Door Lock Button on Driver's side

I have a 06 civic Lx sedan. the little button on the drivers side to lock the door (it has a little red ring when unlocked) does not light up during the night time. Does anyone has this problem or is it just that way?

That locks the passenger window and no it doesn't light up
