Someone Put A Aftermarket Shift Boot On My Brand New Civic SI
Well I always thought I was crazy because I thought the civic si came with a all black shift boot but mine has one with red stitching. Then today i was looking at a guide on changing your shift boot on this website and I noticed it had black stitching.
So im wondering what the hell is going on here, why does my new 08 SI have a non stock shift boot?! Here are some pics of it. ![]() ![]() |

Yeah the honda site is outdated in that regard. I assure you I have that same boot. I wonder if they will finally stitch the wheel red in 09. Though maybe it would look funny as the wheel isn't black but like a dark grey...ok now I'm rambling
