so i ordered my jdm over lays from grafixpressions, and soon realized that u need the ep3 and the dc5 jdm emblems for it to work...felt pretty stupid after ordering them. but anyways, i really want the red emblems! if i order the ep3 and dc5 emblems do i just stick it over the stock? how does it work? i don't know anyone that has done this so it would be my first time!

I got my JDM emblems on Friday and it took me about 1/2 an hour to install them. The back is a piece of cake as all you do is pull up the original emblem. (i just pushed on the tabs from the trunk and out it came. then just pushed the holding tabs out with a pair of pliers, and siliconed the 2 little holes left in the trunk. The JDM emblem fit almost exactly to size where the old one was.

The front was a bit tougher but if you follow the DYI and take the grill out, it's easy. Toughest part is reaching those little phillips screws that hold the grill on. Make sure you have stubby screwdriver or a phillips ratchet attachement with an angling head. You will also need an allen wrench to take the initial two bolts out that anchors the grill bracket.

Alternately you can just pry the front one off if you can't be bothered removing the grill, but beware as the emblem is screwed on so you woule never be able to use it again. Also you would still ahve to drill ut the screws that would be left. I thinks it's worth the extra effort to take the grill out.

The front one went right into the same holes as the stock emblem.

I'll post some pics of the finished job soon
