you could sand some blocks of wood, screw them to rear bumber, and cover it in some of that carbon fiber looking plastic wrap. It would work just the same and few people could tell the difference and you'd save hella money.

^^^ or buy on of those bluebat overlays! Honestly, the quality of that thing looks so shaky. I'd be worried when someone notices it, if they got any closer they would see that it is a piece of crap.

it's not as easy to sand some blocks of wood and cover with carbon fiber as how it sounds, I would rather just buy it then do all those work and turn out like I am trying to play lego on my car, and plus extra 2-3 lbs on my car isn't much, with wood... i would say at least 10+ lbs.

so you guys think the nismo diffuser on this G35 is functional? I doubt so too.

Not the whole thing made of wood, just the ribs.

Yes, the Nismo part is functional. Nismo doesn't make non functional parts.

IMO I don't think most people care about how functional nismo diffuser is but more for the look.

People buy cars for looks, does that mean the car is non functional?

I didn't say everything for look is non functional. Some things are more functional than the other, and you compare car with just a diffuser? it's not a good point. And please don't go off topic of this thread, if you don't like it then you don't have to get it, leave it for people who like it to continue this thread.
