Red face Carbon Fiber vinyl on dash?
I am thinking about buying some carbon fiber vinyl and putting it all over my dashboard and around the inside of my car. What do you guys think? eBay Motors: BLACK CARBON FIBER 2 II VINYL SHEET CAR/TRUCK 2'X10' (item 170215137787 end time May-07-08 17:37:50 PDT)

That would be really tacky. The dash isn't a smooth surface it would never stick right...Not to mention if it starts peeling in the summer or from other stuff you will have a big sticky mess....

yea, the dashboard isnt a completely smooth surface therefore the cheap ebay faux carbon fiber vinyl isnt gonna stick the greatest. your best bet are those *** dash kits. theyre ugly and tacky but if thats the direction you wanna go, then go for it.

orrrr, you can drop a good amount of cash and get a whole dash made of carbon fiber lol.

ive seen someone on here with a real CF dash and it looked awesome! Was def a custom one off piece though.
