need advice with my OEM Interior Illumination....
so I have a black ex coupe with the interior illumination installed. I have the tan interior. i feel like the blue lights that shine onto the carpet by your feet would look better if the carpet was black. because my carpet is tan colored, you could definitely see the line where the light stops. As in, it doesnt fade out as well as it would with black carpet. would it look stupid if i got black carpet mats in the front seats?

I tried to take some pictures the other night of my illumination, but I simply can't hold the camera still enough during the exposure for decent pics. I'm gonna try again with my tripod tonight
Suffice to say, I have black Civic all season mats and being black, they absorb more light vs the ivory colored ones.

Well, I can't stand the ivory interior so I got the black leather. How ivory will effect the light glow, I can't say but this is what mine looks at night.

that looks like the factory illumination kit from honda like mine.....but the issue is, with black carpet, the light fades better, but with tan carpet, you can definitely see where the light stops......so my ultimate question is, if i got black carpet mats for the front, would it look stupid?

you see...with the tan interior....on the passenger foot well....u can see how the light just stops. i want more of a faded look so the light blends, instead of being able to tell where the light ends. like if you were to turn on a flash light onto a wall, you can clearly see the round circle on the wall....i want more of a faded look if that makes sense.....shawnono, do you agree with me or do u like the way the lights look on ivory carpet?
