emblem help

i want to relocate my civic badge somewhere else on the back.. however im not sure what kind of glue/tape i should use that is non residual (like what the stock emblem has when you take them off) does anyone have any suggestion. I thought of using 3m double sided tape but its too thick .. so when i tape my emblem it wont sit flush...
Please give me suggestions. thanks

They sell all kinds of thicknesses for double sided tape, so stick with the 3m outdoor/professional stuff. Second, you'll need Goo gone to remove the residue from the original placement. Good luck.

but all auto parts stores carry something called OEM 3M moulding tape. comes in a black package. thats the same stuff used at the factory.
