Grafixpressions - Giveaway...be the first to help us out!

Guys,

I'm looking to make 06-08 Si fog light JDM Yellow overlays (to give your car that JDM look). Since I no longer have an Si (or foglights) i can't get a car to test fit these overlays.

If you can send us a template for the exact size the overlays needs to be, i will send you a free pair of the JDM Yellow overlays for helping us out.

Not sure if the Sedan fogs are a diff size than the coupes...if so then a lucky sedan owner and coupe owner will get a free pair of overlays.

PM me if you can help me out...first person to be able to get me a template get's a free set!

If you can create the template in illustrator i'll send you some extra goodies!

i dunno. unless theres something new material out that wont burn the overlay because the fogs get hot when the car is stationary. thats how overlays burn. when the car is moving, the motion lets the heat escape.

the only way around it is if you run HID which would run at a cooler temperature or maybe LEDs which wont be as bright.

i did watch something cool the other day. i was watching behind the scenes stuff from the Stargate SG-1 DVD Ark of Truth. this guy made this new gel that literally, can take the heat. they covered a guy from chest to head with this gel and then torched him with a flame thrower for 30 seconds. then turned off the flamer and the guy was perfectly fine. crazy.

Blue, got a question. Lamin-x makes theirs with 1-2mm exposed to each side as a way for heat to escape. In other words, the overlay doesn't completely cover the lens. Should I take this into account for yours? Or do you want an exact measurement?

Blue, just sent you an email with the .ai file attached. It's cut 1mm short of touching the black foglight housing (all the way around) to allow for heat dissipation. Lamin-x designed theirs this way so I figured it was a good idea.

cody.... got your email, thanks!

Send me an email to sales@grafixpressions.com with your address so i can ship a set out this week. Once you get them i'll need some pics and your opinion on them.

you guys are all speaking of heat... i wonder if i should cut some slits in the film to allow more heat to get out. they should be nearly unnoticeable...thoughts?
