Question Are the two (white Peg holders for the Rear H) removable?

I want it to be flat so that i can place a aluminum transformer emblem on the black. I figure that those two white peg holders are going to be in the way unless i remove them.. can they be removed? and can they be reused if needed? Thanks in advance!

They're part of the H. When you remove the H, they should come out too, unless you broke the H.

no they arent part of the H, the white pegs go into the holes. then the pegs that stick out on the emblem snap into it

Yes, they're removable and re-usable if you're careful removing them.

If you pull the emblem pegs out first then it's really easy.

If you look at them carefully, they have 2 or 4 (I can't remember) places where the peg flairs out on the inside of the trunk when it goes through the hole in the trunk.
Those little flaired pieces of plastic are all that keep it in place.
Just pinch those points with a needle nosed pliers or poke them inward with a small screwdriver and the pegs should come right out.

The reason to leave the white pegs in is because they have a rubber gasket on them that keeps water from entering the trunk through those holes under the emblem.

If you absolutely need to remove them in order to fit your new emblem, you'll want to do something else like tape and silicone the holes before you put your new emblem on to stop water from coming in.

Oh ok, my bad. I was thinking about the JDM emblem tabs that you have to cut off because they don't line up.
