intermittent wipers

so correct me if i am wrong...
the LX has automatic intermittent wipers that adjust with the speed of your car.
seems nice... but i hate it. it never works for a drizzle. it will wipe to fast, so i find my self leaving them off and moving the stalk from off to on and back to off so that it won't work.

I thought i read that the Si has manual adjustable intermittent wipers...
i may be wrong, and if i am this leads to another question...
if the Si does have the manual adjustment (ie. a thing to twist so the delay is 2sec to .5sec or something) can i get the stalk and the wiring to do it?

and if the Si does not have this, is there any wiring i could do to bypass the current LX wiper system and put a new adjusting switch somewhere else?

after more extensive searching, i have found some other threads on this, but no one has done it yet...
Intermittent Wiper Stalk for EX?
and this one
Wiper intermittent

as i said, no one has done it yet...

so i guess what i also want to ask does the Si have a single intermittent setting, or is it adjustable like the CSX stalk in the 1st linked thread.

ok..you should just be able to move it strait up and it will wipe once. but yes the Si and EX have the intermittant wipers id imagine that all the controls are done through the ECU though..so i dont know if it would work

Yes, the Si has a setting for how fast you want it to intermittently wipe.

I highly doubt it's ECU controlled. There is probably a potentiometer in the wiper stalk that controls it. Give it a try, I can't imagine the wiper stalk costing THAT much money. Worst case scenario, you can always sell it to recoup your losses.

I believe it is controlled thru the ECU because no matter what delay setting you have, when you come to a stop they only swipe every 30 seconds until you hit 12 mph, then they return to what u have them set at
