Tint pictures and cost for sedans?

Ok, I know prices vary from area to area, but what I wanted to see what many people that got their sedan tinted cost? Pictures would be great also, so post them up if your cars tinted with percentage etc.

Also, I noticed on the sedan theres a little window in the front that really comes as no use, is that window also tinted?

I got mine done for $70 35% front and 20% rear
Althought the guy was asking like $90 I got it done for 70 cause its 3rd car that i brought to him.
And yes those little windows were tinted too.
The front might be 30% and not 35 not to shure tho

Wow talk about ridiculously low prices on your guys tints, I'm getting quoted over $280 for tints with a lifetime warranty but what place doesn't offer lifetime warranty?

Do any of you guys with the 20% all around have any problems with the cops?

Also, are the windows tinted from the factory a little or is it just like that?

Thanks for the replies guys, I shall go look for other places.

mine came with no tints at all. what state r u in anyway? Life time guarantee is all b/s. They probably wont even be at that spot like in 5 years. Tint gets bad lke 5-6 years anywhay, and when u come back for that life time warantee theyll give u a run around like come back on the regular week day, not weekend and they take for ever. Thats from my personal experince.
U got any flea markets down where ur at cause thats where i got mine done.
They did an awsome job. A+++

Well I'm located in oregon, the windows looks like it has a light shade of tint on it, nothing serious or anything, I think it just comes from the factory dyed that way.

Price should be the last thing you ask. These are the IMPORTANT questions to ask shops:

How YOU can pick a good tint shop

If it's a reputable place and legal work you should receive a receipt and a warranty card for a manufacturer backed nationwide lifetime warranty. So it shouldn't matter if the shop goes out of business or anything.

Also, if it's a reputable place they should have better customer service.

If it's a reputable place using a good product it should last longer than 5 or 6 years. I've seen pictures of Madico film installed 12 years ago on a car. It's purple of course, but the adhesive and scratch resistant coating haven't failed yet.

Awesome job huh? Post some high resolution pictures of your tint job up close. Especially corners and the bottom of roll down windows and the top gap.

thats what i meant when sayed that it will last like 5-6 years because i got black tints and like in 5-6 years they will be purple. I live in Florida so we get alot of sun. They guy who did the tints was my friened anywhay and i watched him do it so I know it was done right.
The place is preaty reputable but they get alot of business on weakends that why they say come on weekdays if anything is wrong.
And the thing about life warante is how long will u be driving a car 5-10-15years max then ull get another car. Prus I like my tints black not purple lol. So ill just pay another $70 when my tints turn purple like in 5-6 years and still ends up 140 bucks compared to $280 that this guy is being quoated.
About the receipt whos gonna keep it their whole life???

If you paid $70 that tint won't last 6 years. You'd be lucky if it lasts 6 months before it's purple.

Nowadays technology has come a long ways for window film. Many of the films will not discolor and if they do.....it's covered by warranty.

For $70 you're getting a 45 minute install that looks horrible (go ahead, post close ups and compare them to others on the board) with a cheap korean made film most likely with horrible heat rejection and clarity.

Unfortunatelly i cant find the usb cord to transfer the pix.
An I had that tint on the civic for 2 years already and it looks exactly the way it looked when it was originally put on.
I have the same tint and same person tinted the van andI had it for 3 years on the van.
Hey Im happy with it at thats all that matters.
Like u sayed in your own tint thread price Doesnt mean anything, it is the quality of the tint and the person that instaled it.
Please feal free to post your own high quality tint job, and I will take a look at it.
By the way people look throuht the window and not stare at it, if you know what I mean.

Here is what a tint job is supposed to look like:

Don't laugh, 50% net is the legal limit in our state. =(
