Blue's Red "H" Centercap decals

I just bought Blue Rocket's red "H" Centercap decals without knowing you should paint the center caps first. I thought it was a perfect fit over the stock black "H" What kind of paint would you guys recommend on the center cap and what is the color code to get it to match what the color of the center cap already is?

I bought the red H from bluerocket. If i can remove my centercap on my current wheels, I plan to spray it glossy black and just put the decal over it. Hopefully this will work.

i havent looked at it, but i would think it would be a sticker, easier installation than painting it

Why would he make the sticker smaller that the centercaps? Doesn't that defeat the entire purpose of buying them in the first place?

I'm guessing the OP doesn't know how to put them on.

the center cap decals are meant to be installed on PAINTED wheels, ie you paint your wheels white and need new center cap "H" decals, thats what i made them for. People are trying to buy them and slap them directly over the black H, that's not what i made them for...but it does come pretty close to being a perfect fit.

So can anyone answer my question? What kind of paint should I use to make it match the stock rims?

And Blue, you should actually put that on your site as a warning so people aren't misinformed. It doesn't mention anywhere they are for painted wheels.

Its not possible to make these decals blue makes big enough to cove the entire center cap. Think about it, it would have to wrap down around the sides and the center cap is a tight fit. Its not blue's fault

I am not blaming him for anything, I was suggesting that he just placed that on his site as a warning. And why would the decal have to wrap around the entire center cap? That makes no sense.
