It doesn't plug into the cigarette lighter. It plugs into the OBD-II (DLC in Honda Speak) near your right knee. There's at least a dozen ScanGauge II threads, several listed below.
Is it worth the money? Well, I use it to save gas. It paid for itself in a couple of months. -mr. bill |

It's worth it if you plan on using it with purpose. I use mine primarily to calculate gas mileage, and to monitor intake air temperature and MAP pressure for my own enjoyment. It's also a long-term investment (reading trouble codes, resetting CEL).
Are you looking to buy it as a toy, just to add another doodad to your car? Save your money. |
