Best Paint to Use on Carbon Fiber????
So I have heard of people getting a Carbon Fiber Hood and painting it the same as the stock color of their car. Naturally you get a car shop to paint it in the same way they would paint a car, right? But what if you wanted to paint a specific design on just a specific area on the Carbon Fiber piece.
Ex: someone has a Carbon Fiber Intake Manifold cover and they wanted to paint the 8thCivic logo in white on it. What would be the best paint to use? I guess you would have to take into account the heat the engine would produce and the elements that sneak into the engine bay, right? So you what do you guys think is the best paint? |

id get a shop to do that stuff for me. or if you wanna do it yourself, tape everthing off except what you want to paint, and scuff the area, and prime, and use a high heat engine enamel or maybe even a caliper paint with ceramic. then i would take the tape off and clear the whole thing.
