TWM Only?

I cannot seem to find anywhere that sells short shifters for the 07 lx civic coupe...... is TWM the only place i can find this part? ive seen the adapters and bushings, but im looking for a straight up all included kit for this. anybody know?

TWM sells only the adapter for our Civics. The only people who have thus far made complete shifters are Mugen (for the Mugen Si) and B&M, IIRC.

great heh..... well i went ahead with ordering it anyway. it uses the same actual shifter? theres no other shifter i can use with the adapter thats actually shorter in height?

no, not really. i dont even think the mugen is any shorter.

our shifters are actually pretty short in height as it is. mostly any decently deeply threaded knob will sit very very low.

The short shifters in question do not appear to shorten height, but rather lengthen the stalk at the other end of the fulcrum when you're shifting. The longer bottom section, as opposed to a shorter top section.

If you want to shorten the stalk where the knob is, buy a counter sunk knob.

sweet thanks guys. i guess its a little early for some aftermarket parts.... Im sure somebody will make it for our cars eventually. I really waned to grab one from skunk2 racing but hey, twm it is. Thanks again

i just got a countersunk knob. it does look lower. can you post a link op of what you just bought.

Yeah, just go with the TWM dude, you won't be disappointed at all.

From what I've seen in other car's, we've got one of the shortest stalk's. Like what they mentioned above just get a counter-sunk weighted knob and it'll shorten it by an inch or so.
