Black out headlights on NHBP?

Should i do it? I was thinking about it but i just wanted a second opinion... I'd end up using night shade as i already have a thin coat of it on the front and I've already blacked out the taillights

i think a completely blacked out civic would look pretty cool if slammed and had the correct aero. i plan on doing it myself.

I like the look of blacked-out or smoked lights... but (at the risk of sounding dumb) how much does it diminish the brightness of the lights when in use? Is it safe and/or legal?
