S2000 CR shift knob

Found this at H and A Accessories dot com - Genuine Factory Honda and Acura Accessories at discount prices. Accessories made by Honda and Acura for your car seems like a good price at only $47

"Stance"...The new jockstrap
If it's only $47 that is a good deal. The cheapest one I've seen for sale has been $79. Get it

The original --> "J" <--
its cheap cuz its not titanium like the other s2k shift knob. I doubt anyone would buy it for the Si though, mainly because yellow and red clashing =

That's what turned me off of it.

with a careful hand you could paint the yellow red.

if you painted it red it would be nice. But the yellow...I dunno.

I've been looking at this today, I think I'm going to get it. Soak the top in a bit of mineral spirits or some diluted paint thinner to take off all of the yellow.. and paint in some black or red numbers=cheap JDM Type R shifter!

what you can do is just paint it and quickly, before it dries any wipe it with a damp rag/sponge and the only paint left will be inside the numbers.

I'm too lazy to paint mine, but I think it looks fine.

Best shifter I've used yet, in terms of how it feels in-hand. I'd like it to be a little lighter and taller though.

Fantastic, I've been looking for a stock looking ball shifter for cheaper than the JDM's. I just ordered it. Do you have any pictures of it in the interior?

I can take a pic later tomorrow...but it is exactly like chugiboi says. Just imagine the FD2 shift knob, but with yellow letters. It's also "JDM", as it's the CR/Type S shift knob.

I love this knob. I picked it up from some guy locally for $40. I am thinking of putting nail polish across and then just wipeing off the extra. quick question, isnt the FD2 bigger?

yeah, this is, likely, the exact same knob as the fd2-- just with yellow paint instead of red. you can buy the fd2 knob at a few of the site sponsor's stores.

Use a pointy tip permanent marker and write over the yellow. If it ever fade write it over again.

I just put it in my Si a few weeks ago. Love it! I like the yellow too, I might even get a black/yellow stitched boot to contrast with the red interior!

Interesting. I'd like to try that shifter out to see how it feels. The yellow/red is the easy part of the decision.
