Shift boot mod question (AT)
I have an AT civic EX sedan, and I'm kinda getting tired of the lights on the base of the shift knob for PNRD and whatnot. So I was thinking I could order an aftermarket shift boot, however I'm not sure how I would be able to put it on (if at all) with my AT shift knob. Any comments/advice on this mod?

Hmm... I think that might work. I'm just unsure because I don't know how to remove my shift knob, there's the button that must be depressed to shift (linked to brakes since they must be applied to shift) So I don't know how I could make the boot stay on the top portion. Thanks for the advice so far!

i did this in my o2 civic, what i did was bought the oem manual piece with the boot attached and it was perfect, then i added a momo automatico shift knob to finish it off. i think it came out pretty nice.
