anyone got those TEIN Hood dampers?

my buddy has them, he said they're the same thing as the ones you get at password jdm, just more expensive, it's all in the name.

it's really not worth it other than for looks and show.

well, what about the ones from password? are those even worth it or better off keeping that traditional one?

my opinion it's not worth it at all unless you want it to look good, but chances are no one will even know unless you take your car to car shows and pop the hood.

if you've ever had a hatchback, you'll know that the hatch is supported by dampers as well, they last maybe 3 months tops if you're lucky, youre traditional will never go bad, if you get dampers, you'll have to replace them eventually because they go bad at some point, no dampers, means no hold of hood.

so it's up to you man.

between pswdjdm and tein, they're both the same thing, it's just a name brand thing, what you want to pay out of pocket.

Neither of the two make FG specific. Redlinetuning.com does they are 89.99 and I think they do free shipping for 8th members. I've been meaning to get a kit, would be interested in seeing a DIY article.
