Bumper rock chips

I just had my dealership install the front hfp skirt.. And after installation.. I noticed that there were ALOT of chips on my bumper.. Right down to the plastic..

Now, I rarely drive on the highway and never saw these before.. But the manager told me that they were basic rock chips.. Also, my bumper was replaced awhile ago by the same dealership

So.. What im thinking is.. either they caused them.. Or they ARE chips but they didn't properly paint the bumper before.. Since rock chips aren't supposed to remove paint off to the plastic..

Opinions? What can I do?

The chances are that you just didn't notice them there before the installation. I highly doubt the dealership is responsible for them.

You probably just didn't pay attention before, now with the installation of the lip, you're looking it over in detail, and notice the chips.

They're fairly easy to fix, check the Detailing section of this forum for advice.

Perhaps, but a month or two ago - I was certain that I only had two rock chips in my bumper, but none of these were right into the black plastic. Again, I don't drive much on the highway..

I didn't think that rock chips would go right through the bumper.

Also, there are at least 10-20 chips.. when the bumper was replaced only three months ago. All of these are right into the black..

Any pics? If the bumper has repained at a body shop it could be an adhesion issue. I put 20k miles on my car and never noticed any chips going to the black plastic.

Pics would really help.
