Question Non-Honda steering wheel cover?

Has anyone found a leather steering wheel cover that will fit the Civic sedan, besides the official Honda one? I realize that the Honda one fits just fine, and I don't mind the price, but I wish it came in a color other than black.

I am curious about this one...
2006-2008 Honda Civic Genuine Leather Steering Wheel Cover

It says it is custom-fit for the Civic, but of course it doesn't show a photo of a Civic wheel.

I emailed the company, asking if the cover takes into account the varying thicknesses of the Civic steering wheel, but I did not receive a reply.

Thanks,
Chris

I used one from a company called wheelskins.com before in my prelude. It's not contoured like the OEM one, but you can get it in just about any color you want.

Hi Mat,

Thanks for the link. It looks like Wheelskins is the manufacturer of the cover that I was considering on the AUM website, but it's actually cheaper at the AUM site!

I guess my concern with a non-OEM cover is due to the varying thickness of the Civic wheel. If I choose a cover size based on the thickest part of the wheel, then the leather might fit loose at the thinner parts of the wheel. Likewise, if I choose a cover size based on the thinnest part of the wheel, then I might not be able to make the edges of the cover come together at the thicker parts of the wheel.

Does anyone have any experience with that?

Thanks again,
Chris
