Aftermarket trunk spoiler assist
I'm getting a Type R Wing for my sedan in a couple weeks, and my trunk lid already only pops open to a measly 1 cm under its own strength. I was thinking of installing an assist to make the trunk rise under its own power. So 2 questions:
For those of you who have a larger than stock spoiler on your trunk, does anyone have something that increases trunk lift force or have you kept it stock? Would anyone suggest a gas shock or an actuator to solve this problem? Thanks! [this is what the kit will look like, and the wing will be the same made of fiberglass]
